How To Get Your Zune Music Downloads Cheaply by James Lee

I just got my Zune player two weeks ago and what can I say, Zune is simple, elegant and the huge screen really gives it an edge in the visual experience department.

Together with a FM radio tuner and the ability to allow fellow Zuners to transfer music, movies and photos among each other, Zune looks set to wow until I pay a visit to Microsoft Zune Marketplace.

The truth, Microsoft Zune Music Store is a real disappointment.

Unlike other online music services, Zune Marketplace requires you to first buy Microsoft points with 400 points for $5 the minimum which is a hassle before you can even begin downloading each tracks at 79 points. I always thought technology was to aid us humans do things better and faster, not make it more complicated.

Next up, the Marketplace monthly subscription fee of $14.99 which you can download unlimited songs is a disgrace. If you didn't realize, under this system you are actually only renting the songs and you will lose all the song licenses if you stop paying. What a way to turn off customers.

Frustrated, I almost contemplate returning the Zune for an Ipod until...

Zuneka! (My own version of Eureka!)I found out about Zune Reactor, an alternative Zune music download site where I can transfer unlimited songs, movies, music videos and pictures to my Zune for a low one time fee.

Now this is what I call Zunelicious! No more messy setups, monthly fees or pay-per-downloads and additionally, this will give me huge savings in the long run.

However, Zune Reactor seems to be only giving this unlimited Zune download pass for a limited time period before they start changing to a monthly basic access plan.

So fellow Zuners, get your pass to your Unlimited Zune Music Downloads today before it's too late (and don't blame me if the offer is gone)!
