Selling for others with BAD service!

Hi,

Want to share some insider tips I've learned while promoting affiliate products for others.

1. There are many, many items to sell out there. And there are many, many sellers. So you have plenty of options and items to sell on the Internet (and offline). And many sellers are more than happy to work with you to help sell there items; i.e. help supply you with ads, links, banners and communicate when you call, email, etc. with selling ideas – like cross-selling at events, via articles, eBay, whatever…(100’s + of ways to sell).

2. When you choose something to sell, try it first to make sure you like it and find value.

3. The buyer of your affiliate product IS your client, too, as you hooked up buyer and seller and helped sell the client. So you are responsible for helping and offering at least minimal guidance for a support link for what you are selling, in my opinion. Example: for Clickbank products, know how to send people to Clickbank for refunds and other CSR issues. Don’t just abandon customers who buy through your links and then get stuck with blank ebooks or download links that don’t work, etc. Treat your customers like you’d like to be treated, bottom line.

4. As you sell, if the relationship with the seller isn't there (#1 above); move on. For example, if you ask the seller questions, via email, calls, etc. and are being ignored, think about how YOUR customers will be treated. Can they call? Can they get responses? Doubtful, as mine have called ME for help with the seller isn't available.

Hence #2 above comes into play and hopefully you can reach out and help your client. If this happens to frequently though, and it’s not just lack of time on the seller’s part; i.e. being ignored is not a one-time thing due to traveling or heavy workload on the seller’s part, move on. That type non-service helps no one, and your prospects, clients and own self-esteem is important, too. No one wants to be mistreated.

I personally have removed items from my own affiliate sales campaigns because there absolutely has been zero customer service out there, even for my own questions (for products earning good commissions). And these were replaced with others’ products, waiting in line that had already been tested and are ready to go out on the marketplace. Results: I’ve found many good products with solid support in place to replace the ones serious lacking, making both my customers and me very happy.

So don’t settle for less with Internet marketing. You want to enjoy what you’re doing. So hook up with good sales and support teams. There’s really no need to settle for less. Sure, some people get busy and once in awhile cannot reply to communications. But on the whole, if you’re helping yet being mistreated, forget that! Sell for someone who does want your help and will appreciate your efforts. There are many out there waiting for you. Move on, move ahead! Go get ‘em
